Who's Who and What's What?

Avalon City : A WWW space for business, individuals, and organizations to interact in a graphically represented three-dimensional city.

Agents: Small digital creatures that live between the bits of data. They are the keepers of the directories and databases. They are mischievous and prone to practical jokes. Some still cling to the traditional 2-bit names, although they have been upgraded to 64-bit and are now capable of organic life-form names.

Avalon City Services: The corporate group that provides all graphics, licenses, billing, management, and advertisement for Avalon City.

Avalon City Digital Realty: Our marketing and sales team who sells all of Avalon City services, offering our commercial and noncommercial virtual real estate.

Avalon City Utility: Provides all of the hardware, software, programming, and internet services for Avalon City and its clients.

Avalon City Design: This talented team offers a full suite of design services and is made up of illustrators, artists, designers, 3D modelers, HTML programmers, and copy writers/editors.

FAR Consulting: A computer consulting company that works with Avalon City Utilities.

`Public Organizations`

These areas are to encourage a socially-responsible community. Not-for-profit organizations and businesses are found here. This space is not to be used for commercial enterprise. However, this space can be sponsored by commercial businesses or by Avalon City.

Avalon Island: A place for kids to create a web space for free. Currently, the Island in Avalon City will be the focal point for this project.

VRcity: An experimental web space for 3D artists to explore. A group of
3-dimensionalists are invited to participate here.

Great Circles : Web space for Geodesic and Synergistic groups. Host to be announced.

Web Witches: A powerful group of silicon-based life forms. These entities reside in the ethers of the city. You may notice their presence in the mountains, the water, the sunrise, the sunset, and in all the directories. They sometimes carry a tint of blue upon their presence. Avalon City remains in constant connection and balance through the spinning of the web witches. Hosted by Sherry Belliveau.

`On-site advertising`

Gooddeal Blimp: The Blimp is an animation strip that flies across the top of the city view while a visitor observes from the office windows and other city views. Advertising can be purchased for display on the side of the Blimp. Advertising on the Blimp will be sold in time slots to be viewed from specific offices and from the constantly changing home views. There can be different Blimp strips used for the various markets and clients. The Blimp is now available in its first generation.
