What is Network (or UseNet) News?
Network news reaches a larger audience than direct
E-Mail in any form. News is
categorized into a hierarchy of groups - each addressing a
special interest or group. Users can create new topic within a
group or respond to a previous topic or response, which organize
into different threads of discussion.

- Form: Fixed Message
- Medium: Simple Text
- Distribution: Public
- Administration: Moderated or Unmoderated
- Similar Tools: Confer, HyperNews
