This document describes the information resources available on the Internet,
organized by presentation method and content. These services provide a basic
set of tools for finding anything that resides on the Internet.

A collection of pointers to various information resources on the
Internet. It's useful for trainers and those who want to learn more

Web Indexing Services
- Lycos
- http://lycos.cs.cmu.edu/
A searchable index of Web and Gopher resources on the net, created using
software known as a
WebSpider.
Hits are displayed listing name, URL, document size, and excerpts.
- YAHOO
- http://www.yahoo.com/
A very complete and active list of Web resources, with an excellent
reputation for finding new documents and cross-referencing links.
- The Internet Public Library
- http://ipl.sils.umich.edu/
A new approach to organizing information on the Internet (well, its an
old approach in the analog world). The IPL staff maintain excellent
reference links and other value-added resources.
- Matrix
of Web Indices

A feature checklist for many popular Web services, as well as
providing complete service comparisons and evaluations. An excellent
place to find the best tools for locating information on the Internet.
