Making an Access Counter

Numbers you can boast about

With a new software tool, SILS users are now able to keep track of how many times a document is downloaded. I have updated certain documents to take advantage of this, so you should be getting a total count since May '95.

Users at SILS can make use of this software by doing 2 things: save the file with the ".shtml" extension, and place the following HTML tag in the desired location:

      <!--#exec cgi="/cgi-bin/counter"-->
Users at remote sites should look at the links below, and talk to their Web server administrator about installing the software. Trust me, it works great!
